The first event of the season was the Canadian Sport Compact Series (CSCS) Season Opener at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park DDT Track. Unlike the previous year, there was no snow on the track during qualifying and the weather held up quite well, making it a great day for some racing.
Both cars performed well and managed to qualify in their respective classes. The R32 Skyline GTR was competing in the new entry class, the Production AWD (PA) Class and the E46 M3 competing in the Super Street RWD (SSR) Class.

The R32 Skyline GTR was up against some tough competition and despite a solid effort missed out on the podium. The Official Time was a 1:40.821 which was just under a second to the podium. More seat time and setup improvements will surely have us on the podium next season, In addition, it was exciting to finally see another Skyline competing (although in a different class) on the track with us making it a fun day for sure.
